It is finally official! Final Thought will be releasing their full length documentary Wednesday August 1, 2012. The film will be titled “Like Angels We Sing”, named after the final track on the album; What We Need. The band will also be releasing new limited edition merchandise and a cover album titled “Songs We Wish We Wrote”.

Toronto rock band Final Thought will be releasing a full length documentary Wednesday August 1st on their website. The film gives a deeper look at the band and the recording of their debut album; What We Need. The documentary will be titled Like Angels We Sing, named after the closing track on the album What We Need. The documentary was filmed at three different studios across North America and also contains interviews, live footage and more. The film will be available as a digital download on the bands website for a small fee.

As a countdown to the release of the film Final Thought will be releasing cover songs every Friday in July. The cover songs will be apart of a full cover album which will be completed on the last Friday of July. Each week fans will be able to download a new installment of the cover album until the final installment is released Friday July 27th. The Final Thought cover album will be titled Songs We Wish We Wrote and will be available as a free digital download from the bands website.

As well as the cover album Final Thought will be releasing a limited edition line of merchandise to go along with the film. The merchandise will be available starting August 1st from the bands online store. The band will also being doing merchandise giveaways every Friday in July to accompany the release of each installment of cover songs. The merchandize giveaways will be done via the Final Thought Twitter and Facebook accounts.
